Finally got my star of the week reward last night from my 223 game, two weeks ago. Also other players got their rewards up to date as the centre was abit behind issuing the weekly certificates for over average games for the past couple of weeks. My team mate was the star of the week last night for the previous week. But both of us didn't bowled average last night and didn't win any points. Guess that means our 2nd placing is now gone as the ones behind us might of bowled better and move up the chart.
As the league has been bowling for five weeks now, we currently are in 5th position. It was a wonderful feeling to be in second place for a month but after an all points lost game last night we dropped three places. Anything can happen in the next 40 weeks which I am sure our team placements will either continuing to drop or increase up or remain at the same level all year. But it would be nice to be in the top 5 by the end of this season.
On a good note our team is in top position for a high game scratch but I don't think that dream will last for long by the end of the season. I am sure some other team will beat us by then. But no other female has got a 200 game yet. I am the highest 200 game female so far!! Seriously I wasn't even expecting to get a high game so early in the season. It probably be the only 200 game I will bowl all year.
A new team was introduced last night which means the lane schedule draw will change again. At the end of the league play, we found out we are playing against the same team we played against last night. It will be interesting to see how we go again as both us and the other team bowled under average last night.
