After a six week break, our bowling league resume for a new season of play last night. I still have the same team mate but we changed our team name. We played against my best buddies (who I have known for 12 years) but we won all the points. What a great start to the year!!
I just checked the standing sheet online and we are currently in 2nd place. If we continue to win most points every week, we should be able to stay in the top 5. Also checked to see who the star of the weeks will be. I knew who the male would be as I heard he bowled two 200 games last night. As for the female I was quite surprised to discover it was me. I did bowl a good game but another female bowled six more pins scratch then I did. The main reason I will get the reward because my average is lower then hers.
I know this is very early in the year and it will change many times before the season ends in November but at current moment of joy, our team has the highest series with HCP. I have the high game with HCP and my team mate has the highest series scratch (481).
My team mate's bowling ball started to show a huge crack in the middle. Surprise the ball didn't split in half while the ball was rolling down the lane last night. I guess a new ball will be on her shopping list very soon.
Three new members joining our league too! But it will be interesting to know if they will stay for the whole season as we have new members come and go last year.
